In 1999 the Pew Partnership for Civic Change launched Solutions for America, a program that documented solutions to civic problems in 19 communities across the United States. 'Solutions' resulted in a number of publications which analyzed these programs in ways which emphasized the shared features of the very best strategies for change. From the starting-points for addressing particular issues to the nuts-and-bolts of successful programs, these publications address questions of pressing importance to anyone interested in civic change.
We have taken the very best of our Solutions for America publications and made them available on the Pew Partnership website in PDF. Below are links to these publications. There will be one more publication in the set published this summer, stay tuned for more details!
